Caught the attention of the Asterians!!! (Project P – 11)

AT Damrod Mining Facility J28

LOCATION : Damrod Mining Facility J28
COMMANDERS: Uezguersmaster vs The Teacher

MISSION : Search & Destroy 2.0 | GAME SIZE: 150pts

This was my eleventh Deadzone game.

The battle was fought two weeks ago. I didn’ t have time to write the battle report, but the results were entered in the right week.

We played Asterians versus Enforcers.
Again we used a mixture of miniatures for the Asterians.

We used the same lists as last game.

This time we remembered to play until 16 victory points were reached, but this didn’t help me. It honestly only made it worse as I was still wiped out at the end of the third turn…
The game had some funny moments tho. For example one of my Pathfinders found a Stun Grenade and managed to hit the Cypher Prime and both Kalyshi before they could do anything. On the other side did the Marionette Sniper manage to kill the Pathfinder with Holo-Sight and the Jetbike in the same activation, before getting shot and being the only loss of the Asterians.

The mission played was Search & Destroy 2.0 with the Protect the Nest! rules.
It ended 20-6 for the Asterians.

another of my Strike Teams has been wiped out by the Asterians. But now I know why.
The team was attacked while on their way to distribute our ‘Soylent Green’ among some refugees near Damrod’s Mining Facility J28. It seems the Asterians were keen to protect the remaining citizens of the planet, since they destroyed every bit of the ‘Soylent Green’ the team was carrying and did not spare any of my troops.

Since the poisoned ‘Soylent Green’ seems to attract to much attention I will fall back on standard procedure and order the bombardment of the last remaining population centers of XH8-211 with viral bombs, to further our cause.

Asterians WIN
